Temporary Exhibition – 29 June to 26 October 2025
This exhibition arises from the intention to celebrate ceramics in Bombarral. At the time of the Municipal Museum’s reopening, the aim is to recover and enhance a fundamental memory of the town: its history in ceramic production.

We bring to the present not only the forms — through pieces gathered by collectors — but also the words of those who experienced this reality firsthand: testimonies and stories from former workers who embodied an activity that profoundly shaped local identity.
Through this exhibition, the interconnection between art, industry, and community is celebrated, revisiting a time when Bombarral stood out as a centre of creativity, technique, and craftsmanship in the national ceramics scene.

The exhibition was organised by the Association for the Defence of the Cultural Heritage of the Municipality of Bombarral, at the invitation of the Bombarral Town Council.
